Zephyr Aviation does not support manufacturing in countries under which laborers suffer human rights abuses or under regimes that are hostile to the United States and its allies. Our leather always comes from Italy. Each wallet is carefully crafted by human hands by well paid laborers at a small production facility in Poland. The unfortunate truth is, the overwhelming majority of companies today choose a quick profit without thinking about the long term consequences of poor business practices. We are proud to have our products ethically made by hand in our entire product lineup.
It is important to distinguish Vera Pelle from producers who use the term: Genuine Leather. Genuine leather is a neat marketing trick carefully worded to make you think that the product you're purchasing is of high quality. This is not the case, it only indicates there is some kind of leather in the material. It comes nowhere close to full-grain or top-grain leather in both durability and quality, which we always use.
At Zephyr Aviation we offer transparency and information to the consumer. We are proud to stand by our product, and we don't hide behind marketing gimmicks like RFID blocking, Genuine Leather, or Designed in California (but made in China). We urge you to choose quality and know your product.
